Dear Parents, Guardians & Carers,
It has been another exceptionally full and vibrant term in boarding, with our houses busy from start to finish. Alongside strong academic focus and progress, boarders have embraced a wide range of opportunities across music, drama and sport, as well as an action-packed programme of trips and weekend activities. It has been particularly pleasing to see such high levels of engagement, with boarders making the most of all that is on offer and contributing so positively to our boarding community.
As the term draws to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mrs Sarah Mulready for her time, care and unwavering support of our girl boarders during her time at Truro School. She has made a meaningful and lasting contribution to the lives of many students, and we wish her every happiness and success in her next chapter.
We are delighted to formally share, following earlier conversations with our boarders, that Mrs Lowe will take on the role of Senior Houseparent in Malvern House. She will be supported by a strong and experienced team including Miss McKechnie, Mrs Usher-Sparkes and Mrs Forde, ensuring continuity of care and a warm, supportive environment for all.
Within Trennick House, we are pleased to welcome Miss Mayne, who joins having already been working within Malvern House. She will take on Monday evening duties in Trennick, with Mrs Lowe now moving into her new role in Malvern House.
Our boarding staff team remains committed, cohesive and fully focused on providing the highest levels of care and support for our boarders. We are proud of the strength of our community and the positive relationships that underpin daily life in boarding.
We wish all of our boarders and their families a restful and enjoyable Easter break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for the summer term.
