A New Arrival for DT

Forklifts were at the ready for a huge arrival for the DT Department this week. There was much excitement as a long-awaited CNC Router was delivered.

The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Router is a computer-controlled cutting machine that works by programming tool paths from the DT Department’s computer systems.

The Truro School sign shown in the photos was designed and cut in a matter of minutes.

Thanks to the DT Team for sharing this exciting new machine with us and to our Chair of Governors, Richard Thomas, for giving it a warm welcome.
