What a fantastic way to welcome pupils back for the Summer Term, with House matches taking place in the sunshine. Year 8 pupils competed in football and handball, followed by Year 9 netball matches. A great start to the term from the PE Department.
Over the Easter break, many pupils achieved impressive sporting success:
Swimming:
Congratulations to Elsa C, who represented Truro City Swimming Club at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Aberdeen for the second consecutive year, an outstanding achievement.
Hockey:
Summer R earned further international caps with the England U16 squad during the Easter Series, scoring in a memorable 2–0 victory over the Netherlands. England went on to finish 3rd overall. Well done, Summer!
Rugby:
Year 10 pupils Billy and Perran represented Exeter Chiefs South U15s in a 25–10 win over Exeter Chiefs North. Excellent work!
Football:
Well done to George M, Jacob G and George B (Year 8), who represented the ISFA South West team at a national tournament in Hertfordshire, competing against top players from across England.
A brilliant effort from all involved – congratulations to our pupils on their achievements!
