Congratulations to Truro School pupil Teddy, who recently took part in an incredible 24-hour non-stop paddling challenge to raise funds for Ocean Sports Youth in Carbis Bay.
Teddy was one of nine young paddlers who completed the challenge, covering an impressive 230km over 24 hours in a three-person outrigger canoe. The team paddled continuously through the day and night, taking turns to keep the boat moving in a remarkable display of endurance, teamwork and determination.
The challenge was organised to raise funds for new equipment and future training adventures for the youth club. The fundraising campaign has already reached almost 50% of its ambitious target, with donations still warmly welcomed.
Well done to Teddy and the entire team on this outstanding achievement and for their commitment to supporting their local sporting community.
If you would like to support the fundraiser, donations can still be made via the team’s JustGiving page.
