Welcoming the Year of the Snake

Our boarding community have been celebrating the year of the snake as the Lunar New Year commences across the world, it is one of the most important in the Chinese calendar and widely celebrated across the globe.

Our boarders gathered together for a special dinner to celebrate the occasion and hóngbāo were given as tokens of good wishes for the coming year. The entire boarding community  celebrated on Sunday evening in the dining hall with a traditional banquet which included dishes such as sweet and sour chicken, spare ribs and singapore noodles.
