Sport Training Sessions at Ashbury Manor

Over the summer holidays, a group of 37 Truro School pupils embarked on an exciting, sports-focused trip to Ashbury Manor. The programme was packed with a variety of training sessions and activities aimed at developing both individual skills and team spirit. Among the highlights was a series of golf rounds played across the estate’s scenic courses. A special congratulations goes to Wilf, who achieved a remarkable hole-in-one on the par-three course; an unforgettable moment!

Pupils also participated in football and rugby training sessions, delivered in a supportive and engaging environment. The trip gave the group the chance to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and challenge themselves in new settings, while representing the school with enthusiasm.

Mr Michael shared his praise for the group, saying: “A huge credit to all those who attended. All pupils represented the school fantastically with positive comments from Ashbury Manor staff and members of the general public.”
