County Win for U12 Netballers

The under 12 girls’ netball team played a fantastic tournament on a very wet and windy day.

The girls played exceptionally well in the group stages, avoiding any goals against them in difficult conditions, and made it through to the final stages where they played all of the other winners from the group stage. With matches only being eight minutes one way, team selections were crucial in order to allow all of the squad to play.

The girls won their first four matches and went into their final match knowing that they had already placed in first position. This allowed for some further team changes and a more relaxed pace in the last game. A draw in the final game rounded off an excellent day.
