Dear Old Truronians
Welcome to the newly refreshed Old Truronian Newsletter, designed to keep you connected with the vibrant Old Truronian community.
This re-design is also a great time to reintroduce ourselves, the Development & Alumni Relations Team: Jo Wood, our Archivist, meticulously preserves our rich history. What Jo doesn’t know about Truro School isn’t worth knowing! Amanda Forde, with her extensive knowledge of our community is the ultimate connector, always ready to assist Old Truronians and learn of their adventures after leaving Truro School. Sam Willsher, is a proud Old Truronian (Class of 2003), a passionate fundraiser for life changing bursaries and Clerk to Truro School Foundation (charity no. 1070969).
The big alumni event on the horizon is our Annual Reunion Dinner. Open to all Old Truronians, we do hope you can join us with your former classmates and enjoy an evening of reminiscing and reconnecting. It’s a wonderful occasion to strengthen the bonds within the Old Truronian community and create lasting memories.
We invite you to dive into the articles in this newsletter to stay updated and engaged with the Truro School community.
Happy reading,
Sam Willsher, Amanda Forde & Jo Wood

Latest From the Old Truronian Community
Morley Blamey (TS 1949-54) was more than just an Old Truronian; he is a testament to the enduring spirit that Truro School’s motto Esse Quam Videri instills in its pupils. Leaving a £100,000 gift in his Will, Morley’s legacy generously supports Truro School Foundation, ensuring deserving bursary pupils benefit from the exceptional education he cherished.
Morley’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact that one individual can have on the lives of many.
