Prep’s Summer of Cricket Commences

Pupils at Truro School Prep have been making the most of the summer sports programme with an exciting afternoon of cricket.

Years 5 and 6 have enjoyed a mix of outdoor softball and indoor hardball sessions, taking full advantage of the school’s excellent sporting facilities. With access to both the cricket nets and the playing fields, pupils have been able to develop their skills in a variety of settings.

Head of Sport, Mr Ward, alongside the Prep PE team, is encouraging pupils to build confidence and refine their techniques throughout the term. The combination of indoor and outdoor practice provides valuable opportunities for all abilities to progress and enjoy the game.

Cricket is a key part of the Prep School’s summer sports offering, and at this stage, boys and girls play together in a fun, inclusive and supportive co-educational environment.
