Coffee, catch-ups and new friendships formed

We are very fortunate at Truro School to have a caring and active parent body on hand to support our wider staff, parent and pupil community. The Friends of Truro School (FTS) plays an important role in providing our pupils and students with an exciting range of activities, events and resources to enhance pupil experience. They also create a vital platform for parents and carers to meet, network and support each other.

During the first few weeks of the new school year, the FTS hosts a number of coffee mornings at both Truro School and Truro School Prep to welcome new parents and welcome back existing ones.

For our Year 7 parents, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet up in form groups to discuss life at the Senior School and everything from kit requirements to pick up logistics. With a special coffee morning to welcome all new parents and carers also held, the week has been one of new connections and community.
