Mr Bob Griffin

MA (OXON)

A co-opted Governor appointed in 2017, Bob was Head of Exeter School from 2003-2020 and previously worked in day and boarding schools in the UK and overseas. Bob is now an educational consultant who assists schools with the appointment and mentoring of senior staff. Bob has served as Secretary and Chairman of the HMC South-West Division on the HMC Wellbeing Working Group and Membership Sub-Committee, leading accreditation inspections. Bob has been an ISI Team Inspector, assisted with teacher training for the Exeter University modern languages PGCE course, and was a member of the Ten Tors Policy Group and a trustee of a Dartmoor based sustainability resource centre. Bob is a member of the Education Committee and the Designated Boarding Governor.

Term of governance expires 31 August 2026.
