Year 6 train in First Aid

As part of their Year 6 Diploma, the children have been learning module Level 1 of how to give First Aid.

This includes:

• Role of the first aider
• Communication and casualty care
• Coping in an emergency
• Primary survey
• Secondary survey
• Recovery position
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): adult/child/baby

Year 6 mastered how to give CPR on an adult, child and dummy baby, as well putting someone in the recovery position with Lily being the volunteer.
