WAAs and Spring Bulbs Bloom in the Sunshine

Truro School was awash with the colour of Spring blooms as our weekly Wednesday Afternoon Activities took place.

While some of our footballers headed off to Penrice for a match, others took to the pitches to practice, with both football and hockey underway.

While the Tech Team were busy setting up for tonight’s charity concert, music spilt into the air, with the heady notes of a saxophone drifting across the terraces and the angelic voice of 2nd Year pupil Joshua taking on a tricky Italian aria, Tu Lo Sai (Ask Your Heart).

Joshua finished his lesson and went to join his drama group in the Burrell Theatre. His group, working on The Alchemist, were tasked with perfecting their group performance, before working on top and tailing pieces. Some of the dramatists headed outside to rehearse, making the most of the stunning weather while they worked on volume and focus.

Finally, there was an air of calm as the yogis took to the terraces for their weekly practice. We couldn’t think of a more perfect setting.

A huge thank you to all of our talented gardening and grounds teams. The site is glorious and we are extremely lucky to have such beautiful gardens here at School.
