Celebrating a Trio of Offers from Oxford

We are proud to announce that three exceptional students have received offers from Oxford University. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Tara, Imogen and Louis.

Tara, Sixth Former and Head Girl, has been offered a place at Oxford to study Law. Tara, who has been with us since Prep, expressed her excitement, “This is such an exciting time for me. I have been truly inspired to pursue Law through my A-Level RS course, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Lady Margaret College is an incredibly inspiring and exciting place for my next learning stage.”

Additionally, two students from the class of 2023, Imogen and Louis, have also received offers. Imogen has secured her place at Merton College to study English Language and Literature. Having studied English at A-Level, Imogen shared her captivation with the art of language and how literature can preserve it while offering insights into diverse perspectives. She expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am so excited and feel incredibly honoured and lucky to have been given this opportunity. As an ex-chorister, I am particularly looking forward to singing in Merton College Choir, as I have a strong desire to continue singing at the university level. I owe everything to my teachers at school, as without them, I wouldn’t be in the position I am now.”

Louis, who studied A-level Maths, Music, and English, has received an offer for an Organ Scholarship to Lincoln College Oxford to study Music. Subject to meeting requirements, he eagerly anticipates the privilege of working with and conducting the Lincoln College Choir and the international tours the choir offers.

We extend our warmest congratulations to this trio of exceptional students. We would also like to express our gratitude to Mrs Selvey, who leads the Oxbridge program, and the many dedicated staff members across all departments who work tirelessly to support our students in their interview and admissions preparations.
