A Splashing Start: Reception’s First Swimming Gala

Our Reception pupils made a splash during their very first swimming gala, putting on a fantastic showcase for parents.

Our Reception classes are fortunate to benefit from our incredible on-site pool and two swimming lessons each week.

During the gala, the children happily demonstrated a range of swimming skills they have been learning this term, including breaststroke and butterfly, as well as push and glide, starfish and mushroom floats. They finished the session with a brilliant challenge, jumping in and swimming the full length of the pool.

A huge well done to all of our Reception pupils for taking part and showing such confidence and enthusiasm in the water. We are incredibly proud of them!
