A marathon of a run for George

In November of last year, George’s youngest little cousin, Amalie, was born with a congenital heart defect which meant she had open-heart surgery at two weeks old to switch her aorta and her pulmonary arteries. The research undertaken by the incredible surgeon who operated on her is funded by the British Heart Foundation.

During the lockdown George and his cousins decided they wanted to do something for the British Heart Foundation so the nine of them (including Amalie) are running a marathon between them over the next week or so. George ran his share at the weekend and we just have the littlest cousins left to run. They’ve all love watching the money pour in and have raised over £750! Well done George.
