1st XI Football County Champions

Huge congratulations to our 1st XI football team who have been crowned county champions following a solid win against Saltash in the county finals.

The team played a strong game throughout, opening confidently and scoring four goals in the first 20 minutes (Joe x 2, Freddie and Harvey). Saltash pulled a goal back, followed soon after by another goal from Truro School (Harvey). Saltash followed with a great goal from 25 yards to reveal a half-time score of 5-2.

Whilst no further goals were scored in the second half, the boys were strong in both attack and defence throughout. Their focus and solid determination paid off and when the final whistle blew the score was Truro School 5 – 2 Saltash.

A huge well done to the team for winning the U18 T.C Roberts Shield for the first time since 1995.
