We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of 11 pupils who have successfully completed the Bronze Arts Award this year.
This nationally recognised, Level 1 qualification, awarded by Trinity College London, is a creative programme that encourages young people to explore the arts in a meaningful and engaging way. Pupils have been working towards the award during WAA sessions, developing their artistic skills and confidence throughout the process.
To achieve the award, each pupil took part in a range of arts activities, created a piece of artwork or performance, wrote a thoughtful review, and learned a new skill. They also demonstrated leadership by sharing their learning and creativity with others.
Miss Rashidi commented, “It’s a lovely opportunity for pupils to develop and pursue their own interests in the arts. The process is entirely pupil-led and encourages each pupil to take ownership of their creativity while also inspiring and supporting their peers.”
The Bronze Arts Award is not only a fantastic way to build a portfolio of work, but also a brilliant step in nurturing lifelong creative confidence. Well done to everyone who took part.
