A Bowl of Christmas Cheer

Christmas carols were hummed and spices scented the air on Friday night as staff and parents gathered for the Friends of Truro School (FTS) annual Christmas Pudding Making Evening at Truro School Prep.

In huge mixing bowls, dry ingredients including suet, flour, spice and plenty of dried fruit were added, before grated carrot, apple, eggs and sherry were stirred in.  With the ingredients carefully loaded into pudding basins, these puddings will be cooked this week and then re-heated and served at Christmas.

It was a joy to see so many people gathering together in an event that marks the start of the Christmas festivities at Truro School. We would like to thank all of the staff and the fantastic FTS team who make these events so enjoyable.
