A Bright Start for Our Boarding Family

Our boarding community has made a confident and courageous start to the new academic year.

Having completed their induction day, our newest boarders were welcomed into the boarding family with a raft of exciting activities. From dodgeball in the SBA to an incredible coasteering trip off the stunning coast of Newquay, it was an adrenaline-fuelled, fun start to life in the boarding houses.

We are so fortunate at Truro School to have a boarding community that is large enough to boast boarders from all over the UK and the wider world, but small enough for it to feel like a real home away from home. With Mr McKeown and Mrs Lowe (as well as a host of other supportive staff) on hand to help with any pastoral wobbles or first-day nerves, our boarders took on the challenge of the new year with pride and determination.
