A Sparkling Pre-Prep Sports Day 2026

Truro School Pre-Prep Sports Day proved that a little rain cannot dampen great spirit, as pupils, staff and families came together for a memorable day of sport, confidence and fun.

For the first time, the event was hosted at the Senior School while the Truro School Prep field continues to recover following Storm Goretti. Despite inclement weather, the sense of occasion was unmistakable, with a programme of events that reflected the school’s inclusive sporting ethos. The afternoon provided a range of races and activities designed to encourage every child to take part, challenge themselves and enjoy being active. From sprints and relays to the teddy bear pick up, each event was met with enthusiasm, determination and plenty of smiles.

Amidst gloomy skies, our pupils shone throughout the day, demonstrating their athletic skills and their understanding of the importance of the values of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

While the weather may have been unpredictable, Pre-Prep Sports Day 2026 will be remembered for the joy, resilience and community spirit shown by all involved. A huge thank you to the amazing staff at both the Prep and the Senior sites who made the day a success, and thanks to all who came to support.
