Watersports Wednesday Afternoon Activity

Pupils swapped the classroom for the coastline as they embraced the first sessions of the Watersports Wednesday Afternoon Activity (WAA), making the most of Cornwall’s exceptional outdoor environment.

Based at Swanpool Beach in Falmouth, pupils are enjoying a wide variety of watersports throughout the programme, including paddleboarding, kayaking, raft building, canoeing, coasteering, and sailing.

The Watersports WAA is just one example of the broad and exciting co-curricular opportunities available at Truro School. Through activities that take place both on and off site, pupils are encouraged to discover new interests, develop lifelong skills, and make the most of Cornwall’s unique natural environment.
