A huge congratulations to the first of this year’s Values Award winners, recognised in whole-school assembly for embodying the Truro School values of creativity, compassion, courage, curiosity, and confidence.

Year 7 Willow R: Nominated by three of her teachers for a wide range of excellent values, including her kindness to her peers and her consistently positive and enthusiastic attitude in the classroom.

Year 8 Fatima K: For making a positive impact on our whole community, getting involved with lots of clubs and making the most of every opportunity.

Year 9 Jasper L: For being super helpful with a technology issue.

Year 10  Milly T: For showing compassion and courage by volunteering to be a buddy for a new pupil just one week after joining Truro School herself

Year 11 Serhii D: Having the confidence to make the right decision for his personal development.

Year 12 Henry D: Henry showed tremendous courage and grit in fully taking part in the recent Cape Cornwall creative residential trip despite being on crutches.

Year 13 Daisy L: For her commitment and courage in her role as an RNLI lifeguard.
