Welcoming our New Choristers

During a delightful service at Truro Cathedral on Sunday, 7th September, we were proud to welcome eight new probationary choristers to the Cathedral Choir. This was a particularly poignant service as it marks the first time that Truro Cathedral Choir’s age 8-13 chorister programme has become mixed gender, widening access opportunities to all children.

This is set to be another busy and exciting term for all of our choristers, and we look forward to sharing more from them soon.

Our annual ‘Chorister Experience and Cushion Concert’ will be held in January 2026. These events are a stepping stone to recruitment for September 2026 entry to the Cathedral Choir and provide the perfect opportunity for children to experience life as a chorister.
