Dr Catherine Johnson CO08 Visits from the USA

It was a joy to welcome back Dr Catherine Johnson CO08 at the end of term, all the way from the USA where she now lives. After leaving Truro School, Catherine went to the University of Leeds to study Mining and Quarry Engineering. Soon after she was offered a PhD at the University of Kentucky to study mining engineering further. She is currently Associate Professor of Mining and Explosives Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Dr Catherine will be sharing her expertise and delivering an exciting and informative class to the Upper Sixth in the Autumn Term.
