As part of the Year 8 residential programme, pupils were able to choose from two exciting trips, each offering its own opportunities for adventure, challenge and personal growth.
One group chose to spend several days at Mendip Activity Centre, making the most of the centre’s exciting outdoor activities and beautiful surroundings.
Based at Mendip Lodge, pupils embraced a packed programme designed to challenge, inspire and entertain. Activities included kayaking, quarry climbing, archery, axe throwing and tackling the assault course, alongside favourites such as active archery, disc golf and grab ball.
The trip offered countless opportunities for pupils to step outside their comfort zones, support one another and celebrate personal achievements. Whether taking on a new challenge, working together as a team or encouraging friends, pupils approached every activity with enthusiasm and determination. Evenings provided a chance to relax and reflect, with campfire gatherings, games and plenty of memorable moments shared among friends.
Throughout the visit, pupils represented the school superbly, demonstrating resilience, kindness and a willingness to embrace every opportunity. Our thanks go to the team at Mendip Activity Centre for delivering another outstanding experience.
