Welcoming our New Chair of Governors

We are delighted to announce that Martin Ayliffe has been appointed as the new Chair of Governors at Truro School.

Martin has already served as a Governor for several years, contributing his professional expertise to the Estates Committee and playing a key role in the development of our Music Project. An international construction project manager, Martin has lived and worked in Cornwall for more than 30 years and is a former Truro School parent, with two children having been educated here.

Speaking about his new role, Martin said: “It is an honour to take on the role of Chair of Governors at Truro School. Having seen the school from both a parent’s and a Governor’s perspective, I know how special this community is. I look forward to working with my fellow Governors and the leadership team to continue supporting the school’s vision and future growth.”

We are fortunate to welcome such a committed and experienced Chair and look forward to the next chapter of Martin’s leadership.
