Year 7: Tristan G
Tristan has thrown himself into all aspects of Truro School life with enormous confidence and positivity, managing his busy life as a chorister alongside many other co-curricular interests brilliantly. He has also shown compassion and maturity beyond his years in his dealings with other people.
Year 8: Kit M
Kit is an outstanding student who excels in both her academic studies and the co‑curricular life of the school. She consistently demonstrates all the core values of Truro School in her work and in her interactions with both pupils and staff. Kit is a superb role model for her entire year group.
Year 9: Matthew H
For an outstanding response to feedback in Maths.
Year 10: Rocco E
Who has shown great levels of determination and motivation to make improvements to his approach to academic studies. He has listened to and acted on advice from his teachers, tutor and Head of Year, and made significant and positive changes. For example, Rocco recently completed his GCSE English spoken language assessment, which was described by his teacher as simply brilliant.
Year 11: Daniel A
For having the courage to step up a year group to make himself available to play in a fixture.
Year 12: Oliver L
For being really helpful in Trennick, supporting activities off-site and helping at the assessment day
Year 13: Finlay H
Finlay supported the Year 11 assembly to launch the Somerset College, South Africa Exchange 2026. Finlay confidently spoke about his experience when he was a participant on the exchange in 2024, sharing his photos, videos and personal experiences. Finlay has also offered to speak to any pupil who has follow-up questions.
