Truro School’s values sit at the heart of our school community, and so it was with great pride that we recognised our newest Values Award Winners.
Well done to the following pupils:
Malia (1st Year) for always being a friendly presence in the tutor group, and always positive in her approach to tutor activities.
Thomas (2nd Year) for dealing with a hornet the size of a small helicopter (give or take) when it invaded camp, and panic erupted. With nerves of steel and calm precision, Thomas stepped forward… and opened the door. Freeing us all, and in particular one staff member, from terror. A true camp legend.
Verity (3rd Year) for outstanding engagement in school life. She works exceptionally hard on her academic studies and contributes enormously to the Music Department. She brings a mature and sensible approach to school.
James (4th Year) for offering help to those preparing for their mocks to understand tricky topics. His help was appreciated by many pupils.
Sophie (Lower 6th) for representing the School at the Truro School Sustainability Committee just before half term. Sophie has been attending the Eco-Committee meetings, participated in the recent beach clean and supported the younger students with positive enthusiasm in communicating the current practices and ambitions with clarity, forming an invaluable input into moving sustainability practices forward.
Well done to all of our deserving winners.
