Congratulations to this week’s Values Award Winners:

Year 7Fitzwilliam TDemonstrated loyalty and friendship when supporting an injured pupil on WAA surfing. He cut short his own session, made several trips from Fistral beach up to the coach (steep!) to collect bags and deposit surfboard and still found energy to offer his shoulder to support.

For demonstrating compassion by swiftly going to help a member of the catering staff when an accident had occurred in the dining hall.
Year 10Evie FFor excellent commitment to all elements of school life, in particular sport/netball, where she has been selected to represent Cornwall as well as attend the Bath development academy/squad.
Year 11Lottie CFor having the confidence to seek guidance and support from members of staff for academic questions.
Year 12Lise DFor always being positive, taking the opportunity to further her studies and taking on new challenges.
Year 13Izzy PFor demonstrating curiosity in assessing her knowledge and potential. She has shown great dedication in Psychology by completing a range of additional, extended answer questions of a challenging nature.
Year 13Sophie DChaired the meeting with the MP Jayne Kirkham on the school’s Travel Plan, wrote and presented the script for the Eco-committee assemblies for the Harvest week and attended the Truro School Sustainability Committee.
