Supporting Earth Week Charities this week

This week, we are celebrating Earth Week 2025, a dedicated time to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire action. The theme for this year is ‘Our Power or Planet’. The Eco-Committee at our school showcased a short film highlighting their work within our community and how we can all an contribute to our school’s environmental objectives, such as participating in the three beach cleans scheduled for this term, and the Big Battery hunt.

The Eco Committee introduced the two charities we will be supporting on Friday for this term’s Charity Day. We are proud to be supporting Surfers Against Sewage and Beach Guardians, both committed to improving the quality of our beaches and bathing water in our county. The first beach clean with Beach Guardians is scheduled for this Saturday, May 3rd, at Watergate Bay at 2pm. We invite everyone to join us in this important initiative.
