Squash at Truro School on the up as players keep on climbing

Squash continues to grow from strength to strength at Truro School with players progressing to national finals.

Key Stage (KS) 4 and 5 players travelled to Taunton during the week and successfully qualified for the Squash National Schools Finals which takes place next month in Nottingham.

The success places them among the elite eight top teams in the country.

KS3 players are yet to play matches that will determine whether they will also go through to the finals of the competition, but have been confirmed as finishing in the top ten.

The success comes after the boys have been training hard under the expert guidance of Head Coach Tim Smith, and have had training opportunities with England National Junior Coach Lee Drew, and partaking in masterclasses with Mohamed Elshorbagy and Nick Matthew, two world renowned international players.
