Senior Prefects Meet

Our Senior Prefects met in the Sixth Form Hub for their first full meeting of the academic year to discuss everything from social events to how they want to enact change throughout the school in their leadership role.

Having undertaken leadership training with Intent in Year 12, our Senior Prefects create the agenda for each week and discuss how they can best impact developing change within the school.

With agenda topics ranging from the forthcoming Curry Night to running the Subject Breakfasts, which our Subject Prefects start next week to support the Year 11’s transition into the Sixth Form, there was plenty to discuss and plenty more to come as the term progresses.

If you would be interested in finding out more about life in the Sixth Form at Truro School, our next Sixth Form Open Evening will be held on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, from 5.00pm – 8.00pm.

During the evening, you will have the opportunity to meet our Head, Heads of Department and Sixth Form Team, explore our facilities and discover our Sixth Form Diploma that we offer alongside our A-Level programme, which puts Truro School in the top 10% of Sixth Forms nationwide.
