As pupils returned to school after the half term break, it was fantastic to see our Year 3 and 4 pupils getting stuck into their new carousel of Monday Afternoon Activities.
Designed to enrich the curriculum beyond the classroom, these activities, which range from cycling, cooking, bushcraft, dance, chess and kayaking, help to support the growth of the whole child. These sessions create points of joy, promote resilience and develop teamwork. For some pupils, they offer the chance to expand or refine previous knowledge, for others, they will be learning new skills for the first time.
As you can see from our photos, there was plenty of learning and fun for all who took part this week.
