Truro School’s youngest pupils took to the stage with an unforgettable performance of Knock, Knock! The Nativity!, a heart-warming production that showcased not only their talent, but also their extraordinary confidence and courage.
For most of our Nursery and Reception children, this was their first time performing in front of an audience, but from the opening scene to the final song, each child shone brilliantly. Their willingness to stand proudly on stage, remember their actions, deliver lines, and join in with every song was incredible.
This year’s production offered a joyful take on the traditional Christmas story, told with simple narration and, of course, a few well-placed “knock, knock” jokes. The children guided the audience through the journey to Bethlehem, meeting all the classic nativity characters along the way. With catchy songs accompanied by Makaton signing, it was a performance packed with festive fun.
We are incredibly proud of every child for the way they embraced this experience and created magical memories, not only for themselves, but for everyone in the audience. A huge thank you to the teaching team for their support and dedication, to Mrs McIntosh for supplying refreshments and to our Truro School families for joining us to celebrate this special moment in the school calendar.
More images will be shared with parents next week.
