Head Boy and Girl Conference Inspires

Some of our Senior Prefects recently travelled to Wells Cathedral School for the annual Heads of School Conference. This prestigious event brings together student leaders from across the country, offering them the chance to share experiences, develop leadership skills, and reflect on the responsibilities of their roles.

Throughout the day, the group took part in interactive sessions covering teamwork, handling challenging scenarios, and public speaking, all delivered by a range of esteemed guest speakers. These workshops not only provided practical strategies but also gave our team the confidence to approach their positions with fresh ideas and renewed energy.

A highlight of the conference was the opportunity to network with other Heads of School, exchanging insights on how different schools approach leadership. This gave our students valuable perspective on the impact they can have within their own community and beyond.

The skills and experiences gained will serve them well, both in leading the Truro School student body this year and in their future careers.
