Getting Quizzical at Prep

Our Prep pupils got quizzical as they took part in The Great House Current Affairs Quiz. With some fiendishly difficult questions, brains were back in action after the summer break as our pupils competed to win valuable points for their House.

From questions on seasonal items, identifying butterflies and matching headlines to sports from the Summer, this was no easy feat, and we were delighted to see our pupils from Years 3 to 6 taking it on with confidence and good humour.

For our Year 3 pupils, this is the first time they have been assigned to a Truro School house, and they will carry this through their Truro School journey. Over 100 years on from their inception, the house system, consisting of Vinter, Wickett, Smith and School, was set up to inspire school spirit and, through friendly rivalry, creates a sense of teamwork and camaraderie in pupils and students from Year 3 to Sixth Form.
