First Aid Sessions at Prep

Our programme of weekly Thursday Afternoon Activities for Year 6 pupils includes First Aid sessions, led by Mrs Cameron-Luzmoor, our Prep Medical Care Lead.

During one of their classes, pupils were shown how to use a defibrillator. We have been in a fortunate position to have had our own school defibrillator for many years, which has always been located inside the back door of Treliske House.

We are pleased to say that we have just invested in an outdoor heated defibrillator case, making it more easily accessible should the need arise. It is now located next to the noticeboard just off the school roundabout/parking area, near the DT room.

Well done to our pupils for their enthusiasm and interest in this important life skill. We look forward to sharing more from Thursday Afternoon Activities as the year progresses.
