County Triumph and Other Sporting Success

Another County win in hockey, this time for our U14 team who were crowned champions this week for the third year in a row after beating Penryn 3-0 in the final.

Our U15 Netballers also had their county tournament this week, working extremely hard through the stages, the team played some close and competitive matches to finish 4th overall.

It’s great to see fresh talent coming into the school, and our 1st Year rugby team have proven that they’re ones to watch remaining undefeated in every game they’ve played since starting Truro School.

Congratulations to Lola, who competed in the Penryn Classic 2023. Lola had a fantastic competition achieving a whole host of medals, resulting in her being crowned the Penryn Classic Challenge Champion.

Well done to Ben D and Josh L, who competed for Cornwall in the national championships over the weekend at Ponds Forge in Sheffield achieving some fantastic results.

Etienne and Eryen both won fencing medals representing Finland at the Nordic Fencing championships. Despite being ill, Etienne picked up bronze in the U15 and Eryen gold in the U13! Unfortunately Eryen had to withdraw from the U15, but Etienne pushed on to achieve a L8 in the U17 and a silver as part of the Finish team in the Junior team competition. Well done!
