Bringing Rome to Life in Year 2

We have been dazzled by an incredible array of Roman ‘relics’ as our Year 2 pupils returned to school with their half term homework. Over the break, pupils were challenged to either build a model of the Colosseum, create a Roman mosaic or undertake some research on Rome and present it in any format they liked.

As you can see from our photos, the care and thought that has gone into these projects is truly stunning, and we are incredibly proud of each of our pupils who worked so hard.

Our Roman topic will continue with Hadrian’s Wall and looking into Roman soldiers, and we look forward to sharing more of their learning with you soon.
