Brilliant Buddy Reading

Pupils at Truro School Prep always look forward to reading and spending time with their buddies. Buddy reading sessions, which take place across the year, allow children to support and learn from each other, building their confidence and improving literacy skills in a fun, collaborative way.

As they take turns reading aloud and discussing stories, they develop comprehension, fluency, and a shared love for books. It is also a fantastic way to strengthen inter-yeargroup friendships and peer support networks.
