A huge congratulations to this week’s award winners and head’s commendation award winner.
1st Year: Thomas N – For being nominated for many ‘Commendation Recommendations’ from his fellow tutees for being consistently kind, supportive and helpful. He is a star!
2nd Year: Aria G – For resilience in dealing with an injury and its disruption to her sport. Continued to be involved in school with high spirits.
3rd Year: Thomas C – For contributing positively to a recent school council meeting. Thomas shared several perceptive reflections on school life and made sensible suggestions for improvements.
4th Year: Woody G – For having the courage to step forward and accept responsibility for a position he found himself in. It saved staff an enormous amount of time.
5th Year Study Leave
Lower Sixth: Isaac S – For showing empathy and being proactive when a teacher needed a helping hand.
Upper Sixth: Martha F – Martha has been nominated by the Art Department for the work she has produced during her time in the Sixth Form. She has produced meticulously crafted sculptures and been a superb ambassador for the Art department.
In addition to our Values Award winners, Sarang collected a Head’s Commendation due to his recent success in the Hamilton Mathematical Olympiad, where he earned a bronze medal and a book prize. His score put him in the top 100 students across the country! Well done Sarang.
