Pupils from Truro School Prep have been making the most of our fantastic art provision. Led by Miss Ashdown, some of our Year 6 pupils spent the day in the art room making willow birds for their upcoming production of The Lion King this summer. They made willow structures covered in tissue with stunning results after a brilliant team effort.
Also getting creative, our Year 2 pupils came up to the art room to make worry dolls ahead of next week’s Wellbeing Week. It was a happy and creative atmosphere, with lots of amazing little characters being made out of dolly pegs and scrap material.
It has been wonderful to see our pupils’ artistic talents nurtured during the Year of Creativity at Truro School.
