A Literary Adventure at North Cornwall Book Festival

Truro School Book Club members, past and present, had a lively literary experience at the North Cornwall Book Festival.

They enjoyed workshops with inspiring writers and poets, including Liz Hyder (Waterstones Children’s Book Prize winner), Jo Cotterill (author of critically acclaimed ‘Looking at the Stars’), and Matt Windle (Young Poet Laureate 2007/8 and a professional boxer).

The pupils said it was a ‘great experience’, ‘the authors were awesome’, and ‘we should book it in for next year’. Thank you to all the teachers who organised this wonderful trip.
