At Truro School Prep, we find that our pupils often learn as much outside of the classroom as they do inside, and we pride ourselves on offering a rich and diverse co-curricular programme.
This term, pupils in Years 3 and 4 step off-timetable every Monday afternoon, while Years 5 and 6 do the same on Thursdays, to take part in our vibrant weekly activity programme.
These sessions are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage pupils to learn in new ways. Our pupils are gaining experience in a range of areas, from swimming to street dance, jujitsu to cookery.
Carefully structured to support both individual growth and teamwork, our afternoon activity programme gives children the chance to uncover new talents, nurture existing passions, and develop valuable life skills.
In this, our Year of Confidence, these opportunities go far beyond picking up new hobbies. They inspire leadership, encourage personal challenge, and create lasting memories, equipping our pupils with the skills and self-belief to thrive both in school and beyond.
