A Confident Start to the Year

It was wonderful to welcome pupils and students back to Truro School and Truro School Prep today and to see them striding into this, our Year of Confidence, with purpose and determination.

As we welcomed new starters to our community, there was compassion seen in abundance, too, as friendship groups formed and new starters quickly felt like a part of the Truro School family. Staff, Sixth Formers and older peers sat with the younger year groups at lunch, and everyone was on hand to help those who needed it throughout the day.

At the Senior School, year groups began the term with a special chapel service at Truro Methodist Church before getting stuck into their first academic lessons.

At the Prep School, our youngest pupils settled down to a day of introductions, with new classes, new faces to welcome and new topics to uncover.

We are confident that this is going to be a fantastic year full of personal and academic growth, learning and enjoyment for every member of our Truro School community.
