1st XV National Vase Success

A huge congratulations to our 1st XV team for an impressive run of games in the Under 18 National Vase. The team made it to Round 5 following successful games against Plymouth College, Mount Kelly, Wellington School and Richard Huish College.

“The team should reflect on their journey and be, quite rightly, proud of their cup run. It has been a while since the 1st XV has gone so far in a cup competition, and there were some outstanding games along the way, with the Wellington match my highlight. Well done chaps, I am very proud of your team!” Mr Sanderson, Director of Sport.

Round 1: Truro School 36 – 12 Plymouth College
Round 2: Truro School 21 – 18 Mount Kelly
Round 3: Truro School 20 – 10 Wellington School
Round 4: Truro School 24 – 12 Richard Huish College
Round 5: Truro School 0 – 34 Bristol Grammar School

Attention now turns to Saturday, when the team will travel to Exeter School, followed by their end-of-season game the week after against a touring Woodhouse Grove. The team are looking forward to putting in their best performances of the season.

We wish them all the best of luck!
