Boarders made the most of Cornwall’s stunning coastal location with a boat trip from St Ives, as part of their exciting summer programme of weekend events.
Pupils enjoyed some time exploring the harbour, with a few treats along the way in the form of local pasties and ice creams, which proved popular, although some cheeky seagulls were quick to get involved!
Once aboard, the group set off on a sea safari to Seal Island, guided by a knowledgeable and entertaining skipper whose enthusiasm and expertise brought the experience to life. The slightly choppy sea only added to the adventure, making for a fun and exhilarating journey along the coast.
Along the way, pupils took in spectacular views, including a glimpse of Godrevy Lighthouse and the food festival taking place in St Ives that weekend. The 90-minute coastal tour was a highlight for all involved, offering a blend of wildlife, scenery and fun.
This trip is just one of many highlights in a fantastic summer line-up for our boarders. Still to come next half term are a visit to Adrenalin Quarry Water Park, the Cornish Challenge beach ‘sports day’ and a surf day. We look forward to sharing more adventures with you soon.
