Hello, my name is Taerim, and I am from South Korea.

I joined Truro School sixth form last September. I chose Truro School because I had many recommendations from people, and I got an excellent impression from my interview with the headmaster.

My favourite thing about Truro School is that the school is very friendly, and everyone is so welcoming to new people. Boarding in Truro School is very nice in that it feels like home, and all the students in the boarding house get to know each other well.

I like the fact that lessons have small class sizes. We have regular assessments in lessons and get good feedback from our teachers.

There are a lot of clubs offered at the school, and I feel we are so lucky to have so many options available. I get a lot of support from teachers on my subjects and career choices. I got some great advice about my supra-curricular activities and choosing my career path, which I found really helpful. I want to study biomedicine or biochemistry at university, although I haven’t yet decided about universities.

I absolutely recommend coming to Truro School. The school made my transition from Korea to the UK very easy. Truro School has a lovely and peaceful environment; I’m sure anyone will like it here.
