Old Truronians Donate Trophy to the School

It was wonderful to welcome Steve Burrows CO70 and Michael May CO63 back to Truro School. Steve and Michael have very generously donated a rose bowl trophy to the School, to be used in future golf competitions. While they were here, they were shown around the site by Mr Hooper, a Teacher of PE who organises the Golf Society’s summer meets.

Steve and Michael remain good friends, having worked together for many years at the local Lloyds Bank, where they were both managers.

This past summer, the Truro School Golf Society enjoyed it’s most successful gathering to date, welcoming 38 golfers to Carlyon Bay Golf Club for the Society’s fifth annual year on the fairways.
